Hi, I'm Sydney!
My name is Sydney and I am a second-year US medical student.
In 2021, I was preparing to apply to MD schools. I thought that doing well on the MCAT, having clinical experiences, and getting good grades would be the hardest part, but when I started my personal statement I could tell I was wrong. I made tons of mistakes and it took me over 16 drafts until I was finally done. However, the work was worth it when I received 23 interviews to top schools such as Harvard, Weill Cornell, NYU, Pitt, and Emory. I know it was the quality of my writing that set me apart from the incredibly competitive crowd.
I have since helped hundreds of med school applicants with their personal statements, and I am excited to be launching this course to help even more! Scroll down to learn more about my course.

Read feedback from my Personal Statement Bootcamp:
"Overall, I found the course to be very engaging with valuable content I haven't seen in a couple of other personal statement "guides" I've used. I appreciate the use of text, videos, examples, and prompts with some templates for us to use on our own. The course itself was very digestible and had a flow that was easy (and logical) to follow."
"The handout provided for revising was probably THE MOST helpful thing (personal opinion) and one piece of your content I haven't seen as well done in other courses. I think this is not only helpful to the writer themself but to who they share their statements with. I think that it has the potential to guide much more helpful feedback than you might get otherwise!"
"The course's explanation of how to connect each paragraph back to "why medicine" and specifically "why a doctor" is one of the best explanations I've seen of this concept!"
"I truly appreciate how accessible the course is and how it makes it less anxiety-inducing. There are already so many factors to prepare for and your course has made it less stressful for me especially as this is such a big part of the application process and showcases the uniqueness of each applicant."
"The amount of content you have incorporated is sufficient to help a new student prepare their personal statement. I am a first-time personal statement writer for med school and felt that you thought of anything and everything that was needed from your experience. I really liked seeing that there was a checklist as well and also the examples of your statement to help the student look at an example of how to construct the exact section."
